What do I get for what I paid for?

You get the produced video in a Youtube link format or a file to download.

Do I own all the footage?

All footage shot does not belong to the customer and remains property of Gearhead Flicks. Gearhead Flicks does however reserve the right to sell the footage to whom maybe interested.

 

 

SHOOTING A VIDEO AT AN EVENT

What if the event is completely cancelled?

All orders will be refunded only if the entire event is cancelled due to uncontrollable circumstances. For PayPal users: PayPal fees are not included in the refund amount. 2.9% + $0.30 PER TRANSACTION fees will apply and are taken by PayPal, not Gearhead Flicks. If only a portion of the event is cancelled, we will provide a credit (amount to be determined on a case by case basis) toward a new video project or event coverage - this will be discussed on a case by case basis.

 

What if part of the amount I paid you was travel fees?

Gearhead Flicks cannot refund travel fees such as; airline tickets, hotel reservation deposits, etc... unless the entity involved in the transaction approves it. Typically there is a fee associated with cancelling a flight or a hotel reservation, this is beyond Gearhead Flicks' control and the refund amount we provide you will be less any fees taken from the involved entity. If we have already arrived on location and the event is cancelled, a $200 per day (per person) travel fee will be taken from any refund of travel costs associated with the trip.

 

What if I am unable to attend the event?

If for some reason you are unable to attend the event, you will receive a credit for the amount you have spent, to be used at another event or toward a new video project.

 

What if my car breaks before the event is over?

We understand your vehicle is susceptible to breakage, because... racecar. In the event you complete only a handful of runs and are unable to see the entire event through, Gearhead Flicks reserves the right to either create a video based on the footage we have collected throughout the event or provide a credit toward the next event or private video shoot. This decision will be based upon a review of the compiled footage and the result of the runs you have completed but, again, the ultimate decision rests with Gearhead Flicks management.
